Renuka, a South African born human rights officer served the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. In December 2003, Renuka’s life changed forever. She was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia wile in South Africa with her 6 month old baby Keyan and husband of 13 years, Pragasen.

A dynamic individual who brought the World Conference on Racism to South Africa and actively served the country’s Swiss High Commission at the re-introduction of South Africa into the United Nations.

She received tremendous support from her family and friends, throughout but passed away 2005. She was a loving mother and wife and a remarkable individual. She is missed by so many.
