We are deeply sadenned to mention that Nalini Shah after a brave fight lost her battle to leukemia. Our heart felt condolence to her husband Prakash, her children and family.

On this solemn occassion, we rededicate ourselves to finding donors for leukimea patients. We would also acknowledge with gratitude, the efforts made by her family and friends to register many volunteer marrow donars and hope some of them will match other patients and save lifes!

We are very sad to inform you that Dr. Prakash passed away on Thursday at home in Kansas. a professor of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Kansas State University, was diagnosed with AML (leukemia). He was the fighter till end.

It is with great sadness that we inform you that Mitesh succumbed to his illness on Tuesday, July 29. His last chemo session was on Thur, July 24 and he did not fare well after that. On Sunday, July 27 he was put in comatose for a period of three days. During this time, his parents had to decide whether to take him off the respirator. He had spent the last 3 weeks in ICU trying to regain his strength and become stable enough for a transplant.

Mitesh's family has offered their sincere gratitude for all the attention and assistance you gave this matter. If not for Mitesh, you raised awareness for many others who are looking for bone marrow matches.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We are very sad to inform you that Vinay has lost his battle with cancer. After many trials and ordeals, he has found eternal rest. May his soul rest in peace. It brings us much sorrow to inform you that Sameer has passed away. Sameer went through so much and his friends and family worked tirelessly to make sure he received a transplant. But, he has been called to a higher place and our prayers are with him. We also pray for his friends and family.

We are sad to say that Pranav passed away in late February, 2008. Even as a young baby, he fought very bravely against this dreaded disease. His family and friends will be in our prayers.
