PATIENTS IN NEED

These individuals are parents, children, siblings and friends. Their dreams have been put on hold while they courageously fight. Many have been able to see their dreams come true because a stranger made a different in their life. You can help make these patient’s dreams come true by registering to be a marrow donor and volunteering.

Vinod Kumar 35, a loving husband and father of two lovely children, was diagnosed with myelofibrosis, a type of marrow disorder.

Life was wonderful for him and his family but everything fell apart in January 2010 and his life was turned up side down. He is now fighting this dreaded disease, but he can win this battle only with your help. He needs a transplant from a matched marrow/blood stem cell donor for cure.

Everyone who is between ages of 18-60 and in good general health could be that donor, who can save his life and of many others in the same situation.

Ayesha, 42 year old, happily married and has been a journalist for 20 years.

As a journalist, she has been reporting stories about others but today, she’s making a most crucial report of her own life. She has been diagnosed with MDS a type of leukemia, for that there is no medical cure. The only way she can survive is through a marrow/blood stem cell transplant from a matched marrow donor.

Everyone who is between ages of 18-60 and in good general health could be that donor. You are argued to register at samar’s drives and give her a second chance to live. Can you deny her a gift of life that you can so easily give?

Ravi, a 22 year old USC (University Of Southern California) graduate student recently came from Delhi to pursue his Masters in Aeronautical Engineering. It was like a dream come true when he got selected by the University in the US. In a couple of months he observed his lymph nodes swollen and thought it was a throat infection, but the doctors diagnosed it as T cell ALL. The only treatment for Ravi is a marrow/blood stem cell transplant. One of you can help him to be cured and fulfill his dream to work for NASA.
