SAMAR’s mission to aid patients in need would never be as successful without the support of an unprecedented network of dedicated individuals and organizations. We have been fortunate enough to have supporters from the community, educational and corporate level.
Together we are reaching out to the South Asian and minority communities through various educational projects and marrow registry drives at conferences, conventions, offices and campuses.
A special thank you to each organization listed below!
Delta Sigma Iota is a collegiate, South Asian based, multicultural, social, Greek lettered Fraternity located in the United States. Delta Sigma Iota Fraternity, Inc. was founded on August 15th, 2000 at the University Park Campus of The Pennsylvania State University.
Each Chapter of Delta Sigma Iota works with SAMAR and other organizations within the Be The Match network to organize and execute blood stem cell/marrow registration drives and fundraising events to raise awareness for SAMAR and Be The Match. The goal is to recruit new members in the community to join the registry in efforts to possibly save a man or woman in need of a transplant.
